Tambo Waste is serious about recycling and protecting our environment. We operate a dedicated recovery and recycling centre in Bairnsdale. Comingled waste is collected from a variety of sources, principally residential recycling bins and commercial paper/cardboard bins, and then transported to our recycling centre.

Waste products are sorted into plastics, glass and paper/cardboard then compressed into bales for transportation to Melbourne. Other waste lines are sorted and packed for shipping.

Our recycling centre also accepts recycling waste on a drop off basis.    Both consumers and trade customers can bring their recycling waste to our recycling depot and dispose of waste into the designated recycling bins.
